A focus on health and safety is at the heart of every project we undertake – from the smallest roofing repair to the most demanding large-scale commercial construction site.
Each employee is trained to the current industry standard from CISRS-registered scaffold labourers through to CISRS-registered advanced scaffolders.
Our teams have the correct competency for each task they undertake and we will maintain their training to ensure these skills stay ahead with the ever-changing workplace and industry standards.
Our clients and staff can be assured that we will provide appropriate levels of supervision while taking into account the complexity of our work and the levels of training and competence of the scaffolders involved.
As a growing business, we want to develop new talent – our trainee scaffolders always work under the direct supervision of our Advanced scaffolders to ensure the best practice is passed on to these potential future leaders within the company.
The directors believe that it’s vital to invest in training to develop our workforce and ensure a consistent performance on every project. To this end, all trainees receive structured, CITB-approved skills training and all staff are accredited in line with industry standards.
Our employee training programme includes:
- carry out work face risk assessments
- Preform toolbox talks prior to job start.
- job-specific working at height rescue plans
- dynamic risk assessment when changes occur to work-scope or conditions
- SG4:15 Working at Height guidelines.
City Access Scaffolding supplies all employees with the correct PPE & equipment for the tasks they will undertake.
